Vote for me please

As some of you know, I have entered this Cully and Sully sponsored Cheffactor competition to win a place on the 12 week certificate course in Ballymaloe Cookery School.  There are 3 places available, 2 going to the people with the highest number of votes and the 3rd being chose by the judges.

I am feeling really uncomfortable about all this begging for votes, self-publicity and attention - to some it comes naturally but I feel shy and uneasy about asking people to give their time, but I suppose if you don't ask, you don't get!

I need lots and lots and lots of votes, like 900+ and I currently have 45,  so it would make my day if you would take 2 minutes, click on the link below and clock the like button.

The course is renowned as being one of the best in Ireland and the UK and I would love to win!  I have considered attending the course in the past, but there was always something to stop me, children, a job etc. but now that things have quietened down, my children are sleeping all night (for the minute anyway!) and things seem to be on an even keel, well there is no reason not to apply for this.  I hope this blog is a testament to my love of cookery and all things food!

Thanks to all of you who have already voted and maybe you could pass this onto your friends and urge them to do the same.

Thank you.

  1. I posted this on my Facebook Group Wall

Hopefully you get many more votes..

    Good luck with it

  2. Hi there, thanks a million, it seems totally unfair that a college student can post it on their college intranet and get 950 votes! I have a lot of catching up to do, or maybe I should go back to college!

  3. I know what you mean - you should drop it on the group pages of food network & recipezaar on Facebook if you have the time...

Also within the blogs you follow like smittenkitchen & 101cookbooks

Its a bit more work but the votes should come...
